Mormons are NOT Christians

Revelation 22:18,19 “For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.” Not sure how Christians are saying not to vote for Obama and to vote for Romney on religious grounds. I have been doing a lot of reading on the Mormons and well it sounds like a cult to me. They surely are not Christians according to the bible. The final verses of revelations bare out that “the Book of Mormon” is false prophesy. So would you rather have a Christian who is in error on same-sex marriage or a person who is a non-Christian and follows a false prophet? Joseph Smith the founder of the Mormons made many such false prophesies and not a single one came true. Smith said that Jesus would return in 56 years, which would have been in the year 1891. This is according to History of the Church, vol. 2, p. 189. The next false prophesy is that the temple is supposed to be rebuilt in Missouri and not in the Holy City Jerusalem. THIS IS A DIRECT QUOTE from Book of Mormon, Doctrines and Covenants 84:2-5,31"Yea, the word of the Lord concerning his church, established in the last days for the restoration of his people, as he has spoken by the mouth of his prophets, and for the gathering of his saints to stand upon Mount Zion,i which shall be the city of New Jerusalem. 3 Which city shall be built, beginning at the temple lot, which is appointed by the finger of the Lord, in the western boundaries of the State of Missouri, and dedicated by the hand of Joseph Smith, Jun., and others with whom the Lord was well pleased. 4 Verily this is the word of the Lord, “ Smith had a lot of other strange prophesies that go against the bible most of which never came true or can not be proven by history or even science. "God himself was once as we are now, and is an exalted man, and sits enthroned in yonder heavens!!! We have imagined that God was God from all eternity. I will refute that idea and take away the veil, so that you may see," (Teachings of Joseph Smith, p. 345). He even teaches that Jesus and Lucifer were brothers and Jesus was not born of a virgin but that it was through an actual sexual relationship and God has a wife. Jesus in the bible Matthew 22:30 clearly states that there is no marriage in heaven. I have not even touched on the Mormons doctrine of polygamy and long history of pedophilia. Or their lack of respect for women. Women are still sold to the highest bidder and are still made to go alone with arranged marriages. Some girls are forced to marry as young as 14 years old. Women are clearly second class citizens. Finally they have a baptism to the dead which is strictly forbidden in the bible. We are not supposed to have any kind of worship of the dead. Finally, Smith was murdered by an angry mob while in jail awaiting trial for sleeping with other men's wives. He was also running for President of the United States at the time. The rumor at the time was that Smith intended to turn the United States into a theocratic kingdom with Smith as the king. Sounds like the prophesy of Revelations 22:19 the bible came true in the life of Smith. I just do not think it is valid to vote against Obama because of his stance on same-sex marriage when the values and doctrines of Mormons are very twisted and are not in the least Christian. Just because you use the name Jesus does not mean you know Jesus or follow him. The Klu Klux Klan also claims Jesus too and that they have Christian values. So if you are voting Christian family values you may want to reconsider voting for Romney. He is not a Christian.
